If you know Ogden City's 25th Street, you would know it's been the center of the city since it's birth. The buildings in the area were constructed in the late 1800s - early 1900s almost entirely in red brick. This street is used for many events throughout the year including the Ogden Farmer's Market. Starting in June, you can see the street lined up every Saturday with booths from local farmers, artist and craftsman.

The city's current website to showcase this event is one that could use a little buffing. I decided to go through and find any important information I felt was needed to showcase on the website and started my journey to give it a new look.

Before I started creating my idea, I decided to take a visit to the market itself and meet with some of the current vendors. I was able to ask their opinions on the current website and see what they felt would be needed as both a vendor and customer. It was super helpful in giving me a good idea on what was needed to make this all complete.
Before I could get too deep into the update, I wanted to give the logo a little refresher. The current one is amazing and was hand drawn by a local. I wanted to keep their flare in the new one while giving the market an updated look. I didn't want to go with too much color as the market itself is always full of life and color. We only needed something basic to show off what we love.

You can see that I created multiple iterations of the logo to show off different ways it can be shown and used. I also decided the emblem would make a perfect pattern that could be used throughout the website and in advertising the market itself.

This project was a great chance for me to work on something close to me and something I felt very passionate about. I love every chance I can to help bring new life to long loved brands, products, and events.
